Acura at Road America

  • Acura has gone back-to-back in 2025, winning the last two IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTP races at the Detroit Grand Prix and the Sahlen’s Six Hours of Watkins Glen.
  • The #93 Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian ARX-06 of Nick Yelloly and Renger van der Zande won from pole at the Detroit Grand Prix, while the sister #60 of Colin Braun and Tom Blomqvist took the victory at Watkins Glen.
  • At last year’s IMSA race at Road America, the Acura ARX-06 would start on pole and finish third.
  • 2023 saw the duo of Blomqvist and Braun finish second for Meyer Shank Racing as part of an Acura 2-3 result at the track.
  • Acura’s last victory at America’s National Park of Speed came in 2022 with the Acura ARX-05 in the hands of Ricky Taylor and Filipe Albuquerque. Taylor had previously won with Acura at Road America in 2020 with then co-driver Helio Castroneves.
  • Acura’s first win at Road America came in 1993, when Parker Johnstone and Dan Marvin claimed the Camel Lights class win in their Comptech Racing Acura Spice SE92P. Additional victories followed in American Le Mans Series competition in 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013 in the LMP2 category; and overall/LMP1 in both 2009 and 2013.
  • The #93 GTP represents an increased presence from Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US) within the organization as the HRC US team strategizes and engineers the racecar for the very first time in IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship competition.
