Insurance Institute for Highway Safety

The 2013 TL achieved a “Top Safety Pick+” rating, which is the highest possible designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). To be declared a “Top Safety Pick +”, a vehicle must receive their top rating (“Good”) in at least four of five evaluations: moderate overlap frontal, small overlap frontal, and side impact crash tests, and rollover and rear impact evaluations. The TL achieved a “Good” rating in all five evaluations.

The TL is one of only two vehicles in its class to achieve the Top Safety Pick+ rating.

ALG Residual Value

Acura currently holds the Automotive Lease Guide (ALG) Residual Value Award for Overall Luxury Brand. Acura has previously earned this honor in 2009 and 2010 and has never ranked below 2nd place for the past five years.
