Navigation w/ Voice Recognition
OPTIONAL FEATUREThe Acura Navigation System28 features an 8-inch screen mounted in the center control panel, which also serves as the monitor for the rearview camera. Using the interface dial or the Voice Recognition system, you can enter an address or have the system find a location from its vast DVD destination database. The screen will plot your path on the map and show special displays to guide you through freeway ramps, interchanges and forks in the road. The system can show you nearby gas stations, ATMs and other points of interest and even display Zagat Survey® restaurant reviews.
AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic
OPTIONAL FEATURETo help you plan your journeys, this easy-to-use proprietary data network uses the XM® Radio4 communications interface to provide on-screen traffic information13 that‘s easy to read and access. If a route is set, the system can automatically alert you of possible weather or construction delays. Traffic data service is offered on a subscription basis for a nominal fee following the 90-day free trial period. The AcuraLink® system features a preprogrammed TL feature guide, dealer appointment reminders, and direct communication with your dealer.
Bluetooth HandsFreeLink
STANDARD FEATUREThe Bluetooth®11 HandsFreeLink® system works with many Bluetooth®-enabled cell phones to let you receive and initiate phone calls through the audio system without ever taking your hands off the wheel. The Multi-Information Display can show the caller’s name or number, while the center panel display can show reception and battery strength, depending on the phone. A one-time pairing process enables your Acura to communicate wirelessly with the phone, and up to six different phones can be paired with it at a time. After the initial pairing, a phone can be operated through the vehicle audio system without ever leaving your pocket or purse.
Personalized Settings
STANDARD FEATUREWhen one of the provided keyless remote transmitters unlocks the TL, it will automatically cause the car to engage a programmed set of driver’s preferences. In addition to setting the driver’s seat and outside mirror positions, the system also sets the driver’s preferred audio and climate control settings. A different set of preferences can be set for each remote.
